SoccerTots Fall Session is almost here!
As the summer slowly winds toward Labor Day, we wanted to let you know we have a Special SoccerTots Offer. Join us for all 8 weeks of the Fall Session and you will receive a Free Class Credit towards registration in the Holiday Session (Nov-Dec 2010). In other words, if you sign up and pay for the whole Fall Session, you can then register for the Holiday Session at a discounted rate.

DC SoccerTots To Open New Location in Tysons Corner
DC SoccerTots is pleased to announce the launch of the nationally acclaimed SoccerTots program for children age 18 months to 6 years old at its newest Location, Prospects Sports. A premiere state-of-the-art athletic training facility, Prospects Sports is located at 8500B Tyco Road in Vienna , Virginia .
Soccer Tots is a child physical development program that utilizes a variety of fun games to delight and engage young children in physical activity. Classes are professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote fitness, and create self confidence.
Prospects Sports will begin offering SoccerTots classes in June 2010 with a promotional 10 week Summer Session for the regular 8 week price. Professionally trained instructors will lead classes using a variety of props, songs and games to engage children in participation activities. The instructor-to-child ratios are kept small and all classes utilize an age appropriate curriculum. SoccerTots also offers open enrollment to allow participants to join at any time within the session.
In a non-competitive environment, SoccerTots stresses the development of motor skills such as: running, jumping, kicking, dribbling, balance, foot-eye coordination, body control as well as listening and following instructions. The 50 minute weekly classes will be held on weekday and Saturday mornings year-round.
DC SoccerTots to Partner with Premier AC for 1st Touch Academy
DC SoccerTots has partnered with Premier Athletics Club to bring its nationally renowned child development program to Falls Church , Virginia . Beginning in April, 2010, Premier AC's 1 st Touch Academy will be powered by SoccerTots offering classes for kids 4-9 years old.
1 st Touch Academy is designed for the development of young soccer players. The training will focus on the development of foot skills, confidence with the ball and overall ball control to master the 1 st touch. 1 st Touch Academy is presented by DC SoccerTots to prepare and transition players for the travel soccer experience.
Classes will meet once per week outdoors at Timber Lane and Shrevewood Elementary Schools . The 1 st Touch Academy will focus on developing the younger player's skills in a series of fun activities and games. Each class will finish off with controlled small sided games to simulate the soccer environment without the pressure of winning. All of the Academy instructors are professionally trained and bring a wealth of soccer experience to the field.

SoccerTots classes are currently being held at 7 great locations in the DC area: The Box in Chantilly, Timber Lane Elementary School in Falls Church, Gold's Gym in Greenbelt, Haymarket SportsPlex in Haymarket, Total Sports NOVA in Manassas, The Trinity Center in Washington, DC and introducting Prospects Sports in Tysons Corner.
